The agile and powerful CD1 offers revolutionary design and handling. It combines the payload possibilities of a small vehicle with the maneuverability and flexibility of a bicycle. The quality of workmanship is at the highest level and as usual, only high quality components are installed. Its powerful Bosch drive is fully integrated into the elaborate aluminum frame.

Thanks to its patented tilting technology, the CD1 offers driving stability that is second to none in its class. The suspension is more reminiscent of a sports car or motorcycle than a bike. Whether in the city, on a bike path or on a country road, the CD1 tilting technology offers maximum stability and a completely new driving experience.

Versatile use

Maximum flexibility. With its open concept, the CD1 allows for a wide variety of different superstructures. Thanks to the universally usable base plate with the standardised rail system, any solutions can be easily implemented. Bosch CX

With a concentrated energy load, the performance line from the leading international e-bike mid-motor manufacturer Bosch is designed for sporty, powerful riding. The dynamic drive provides powerful assistance on any terrain – from flat to steep, on asphalt or off-road. The drive unit controls each speed without exception. We refuse to compromise, which can also be seen in the design, because every single component represents excellent engineering and legendary quality. The HNF-NICOLAI team has experienced various drive systems over many years – the Bosch drive sets the standard.

Powerpack 500

Bosch Powerpacks, which HNF-NICOLAI uses for its e-bikes, are lithium-ion batteries with a 500 Wh energy reserve. They are easy to install and remove, and can be mounted directly on the bike as a frame battery. The innovative Powerpacks used in the Bosch Performance Line offer the highest energy density. Your Battery Management System (BMS) provides the best possible protection from overcharging, undervoltage, overheating and short-circuiting, and also increases the service life of the battery.

Choose your on-board-computer

Design meets functionality: Purion is the minimalist on-board computer for everyone wishing to have a neat look on the handlebar, be it for use in the city or the countryside. You get all important information conveniently at the touch of a button during the ride, with both hands remaining on the handlebar. Five different riding modes give you the correct support in every situation.

The perfect fusion of smartphone and e-bike connects you to your digital world and turns your e-bike into a real smart bike. Offline bike navigation, alarm system, fitness tracker, multimedia system, light control and much more - The COBI.Bike Sport System contains all functionality for e-bikes with integrated lighting. Also included is the Bosch display holder with the Nyon remote control for intuitive control of the Cobi system.

Simple, intuitive and safe operation on the separate control unit is the hallmark of this on-board computer.

Not only switching between the five driving modes plus pushing aid, but also retrieving information such as speed, state of charge, distance and much more couldn’t be easier. In addition, the shift recommendation shows the optimum moment to change gear by means of an arrow display.

Kiox offers all the functions a sporty driver needs. The small, scratch-resistant colour display is controlled by the separate control unit with noticeable pressure points. It provides driving data on speed, power, heart rate, battery charge and much more. With Kiox, you have all the essential information at a glance.

Networked via Bluetooth with an optional chest strap, you are always informed about your current pulse range and can therefore train optimally. The Bluetooth Low Energy interface also offers the option of downloading software updates to your on-board computer without a cable connection.

Tektro Bremsen

Both calipers can be operated with only one lever. Mineral oil is used as brake fluid. The brake pads are made of high-performance metal with ceramic compound and guarantee the best sensitivity with good heat resistance and high braking performance. The two-piece 2.5 finger lever offers next to the grip width adjustment and a locking mechanism to safely stop the CD1.

Gates Carbon Drive

Silent and longer-lasting – designed specifically for the performance requirements of an e-bike, Gates’ engineers have developed a extremely durable and maintenance-free system. It is 20% lighter and lasts 4 times longer than a well-maintained steel chain. In order to meet the special requirements of human pedal force, an optimal belt drive performance with 11 mm pitch was designed. A polyurethane coating guarantees absolute rust-resistance. The patented system thus ensures interference-free and smooth intermeshing of the teeth with proven Gates durability.

Enviolo Automatic

Uncomplicated, continuously variable and automatic.

This maintenance-free, continuously variable high-end transmission ensures a smooth and comfortable ride that is yet to be rivalled. Even under high pedal force, it adapts smoothly to each terrain and riding style individually. With a range of 380%, the right transmission is provided for each cyclist and each situation. The Automatic add an additional element of comfort to the technology of the continuously variable transmission. This is because the system offers the first automatic continuously variable shifting system to those who’d rather not worry about shifting at all. You set your preferred cadence, and the transmission is controlled automatically so that you can always pedal at the same pace, even up or down hill. The gear ratio is always at the optimum setting, which also extends the range of your e-bike battery.

The fastest bikes also need the brightest headlights. Here the Supernova lighting system shows its full strength. Even on the darkest routes, it illuminates the road far and wide, providing a comfortable riding experience. The completely CNC-milled aluminium housing is marine-anodised, 100% waterproof, protected against theft and thus suitable for even the hardest of e-bike days.

A standardized rail system on the left and right side of the cargo bed makes it easy to attach various transport structures to the CD1. From a simple grid box for cargo transport to an enclosed child carrier seat, the e-Bike can be adapted to individual requirements. Cargo Unit TopLoader

The Cargo Unit TopLoader offers tremendous capacity yet has a low dead weight. The permissible total weight on the Cargo CD1 is thus hardly affected and can be fully exploited. As the lid opens almost vertically, you can load and unload items easily.

Basket Unit

The Basket-Unit is a reasonably priced and portable solution, which can be safely integrated into the ProSafe rail system on the Cargo CD1 cargo bed. It is lightweight, quick and easy to assemble. Thanks to its versatility, the Basket-Unit is a practical and efficient transport system at an attractive price.
